Radith is an associate who punches well above his weight for his level of experience. His insight, commitment to clients, intellectual rigour and solutions-based approach make him a valuable asset for clients in highly complex, high stakes and or distressed situations.
Before joining Ironbridge Legal, Radith worked for a large national commercial law firm. Radith has serviced many clients which have included significant national and overseas funds, boards, small, medium and large enterprises, individuals and liquidators.
Radith has experience and excellent know-how in contentious and deal-making matters, including mergers and acquisitions, finance deals and restructuring. One of the cross-border mining deals which Radith was involved in was one of three deals shortlisted for Restructuring Deal of the Year in the 2023 Australasian Law Awards.
In the context of litigation, Radith’s experience extends to matters in the Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court, state Supreme Courts, and administrative tribunals. He has appeared, with leave of the court, in the Supreme Court of New South Wales.
- Represented three German funds in a successful multi-jurisdictional restructure of an Australian corporation operating several coal mines in the United States
- Represented a Big 4 accountancy firm as liquidators in relation to significant unfair preference claims
- Advised potential defendants in relation to voidable transaction claims
- Represented an Australian corporation in relation to the recovery of debts circa $1 million
- Represented liquidators of an international franchise network in pursuing claims in excess of $10m for breach of director duties
- Represented Canadian and Hong Kong investors in a rescue deal to prevent a significant Australian manufacturer and wholesaler going into liquidation
- Represented a developer in its dispute with a lender, including challenging line fees and personal guarantees
- Successfully advised in several breach of contract claims
- Represented a Chinese manufacturer in defending freezing orders
- Represented a litigation funder in relation to breach of contract claim. In this case, Radith played a pivotal role in successfully defending a security for costs application
- Advised a global ‘household name’ manufacturer in relation to breach of contract claims
- Advised a PNG company in relation to the purchase of shares, and a shareholder dispute
- Represented lot owners in relation to a dispute with their owners corporation for breaches of duty under the Strata Schemes Management Act
- Advised a fund in relation to misleading and deceptive claims arising from pre-investment representation in a $20m investment
- Advised a claimant in Singapore about enforcement of a foreign judgment action in Australia
Radith is admitted to practise law in all Australian state courts.
