Ironbridge Legal bolsters its growing first-class team

Ironbridge Legal is rapidly expanding with the addition of four new team members. Most recently, it has significantly bolstered its capacity and capability with the hire of Special Counsel Donna Boyce and Associate Sarah Mooney.

Donna joins Ironbridge Legal with over 20 years’ experience working on some of Australia’s most complex litigation matters.

Donna said: “Having worked at AGS for a significant portion of my career, I am excited to bring a commercial approach to the complex client challenges at Ironbridge Legal. The Ironbridge Legal proposition is an exciting one for senior lawyers who are looking for flexibility coupled with quality work and clients. As a boutique outfit, Trevor and the team work on some outstanding matters, without the often stifling environment within some larger firms who traditionally service high-profile clientele.

Donna will be focused on assisting the Ironbridge Legal team in providing the highest quality approach to all the matters it handles.

Ironbridge Legal also welcomes two new paralegals to the team.

Jerry To is currently studying for a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Sydney and has assisted in several complex matters involving conflict of laws, securities law and data protection law. Jerry has been published in a peer-reviewed legal journal (the Commercial Law Quarterly). Alongside his work at Ironbridge legal, Jerry assists his professors with legal research for leading textbooks.

Clara Janssen is currently undertaking her Bachelor of Laws at UTS and has pursued a range of advocacy work in not-for-profit legal organisations. Clara is currently undertaking the Brennan Justice and Leadership Program, which promotes intellectual engagement with justice and leadership through community service.

Donna, Jerry and Clara join Founder and Partner Trevor Withane, senior lawyer Patrick Gallego and Jessica Hall, an experienced paralegal, to support the growing demand for high-quality litigation and insolvency law advice.

Trevor Withane, who is delighted about the growth, said:

This is an exciting phase for our firm. Bringing together clients with often complex legal issues and a highly talented and capable team is a real joy. This level of growth also allows us to build a strong and distinctive culture – something I feel very strongly about. I am looking forward to seeing what we can achieve throughout 2022.
